Discover our new cancellation option: the Serenity Option 

The Serenity Option is a cancellation option that covers all reasons for cancellation and allows you to benefit from a refund. It replaces our previous cancellation option, at an even better price!

No proof of cancellation is required. A simple e-mail is all you need to be reimbursed.

Refund of your stay with the Serenity Option :

The amount of the stay already paid* will be completely refunded up to 30 days before the date of arrival.

From the 30th day before your arrival, a cancellation fee will be deducted in addition to the € 20 booking fee and the total amount of the Serenity Option:

– 30% of the total cost of your stay if you cancel between 30 and 21 days before your scheduled arrival date;

– 50% of the price of the stay for cancellations made between 20 and 8 days before the scheduled arrival date;

– 80% of the total cost of your stay if you cancel between 7 days and 1 day before your scheduled arrival date;

– 100% of the price of the stay on the day of arrival.

*Excluding booking fees and the amount of the Serenity Option.

With the Serenity Option, book your stay with complete peace of mind. You have the certainty to get a refund when you cancel your booking.

Terms and conditions of the Serenity Option :

The cost of the Serenity Option is € 14 per night for rental accommodations and € 8 per night for pitches. The option must be taken out at the time of booking and paid at the same time as the deposit. The guarantee takes effect as soon as the serenity option is taken out and ends the day before arrival.

When you cancel your booking, you will be asked to send us an email in order to proceed with the refund.

1. Flexibility is Key :
   • Try moving your stay by a few days (1 or 2 days before or after), you might be able to open up new possibilities.
     Good to know : early July and late August, we often still have lots of availabilities.
2. Explore Alternatives :
   • Have you considered other types of accommodations ? You might find an equally charming alternative that perfectly fits your needs.
     Good to know : Depending on the accommodation, arrival days vary. You’re not restricted to booking for a week; you also have the option to book for 10 or 11 nights. This provides more flexibility and broadens your options.

Lots of new additions for this year 🤩 and the meticulous work has already begun at Camping Village de la Guyonnière!

Here’s what you can discover on-site:

• The terrace of the Pool Bar is getting a little makeover to welcome you starting from May. 😎 
• In response to numerous requests, we have installed air conditioning in several accommodations: the Comfort Cottage 6p and Premium Cottage 6p. 🥳 
• This year, we decided to open a few rentals in which pets are allowed! The Pet-Friendly Cottage 6p is here for you and your furry friends! 🐕 
• Even more activities at La Guyonnière! This summer, treasure hunts and possibly an outdoor Escape Game will be organized. Come discover them with our entertainment team right from the opening! 🧐 
• We are committed to constantly improving our green spaces and reducing our environmental impact through various initiatives such as installing water-saving systems, a UV dechlorinator at the pool, as well as setting up information panels on the environment, fauna, and flora. 🌲🥰 
• The plumbing in all our sanitary facilities will be upgraded for optimum temperature and pressure settings for everyone. 💧

• There will be an addition of 14 Comfort Cottages on the fields “Le Quarteron” and “Le Criquet“. These will be joining the 13 that were already renewed in 2022 ! 😍
   
• An additionnal 10 Safari Lodge for 7 persons situated on the field “La Colline“. ⛺ This new model will be sure to convince you with its three bedrooms, and its unique view on the horses in the field and on the Jaunay valley.
   
• There’s an addition of 6 new charging points for electric vehicles ! 🚗 In addition to the parking, a new charging station will be created at “Les Coteaux“.
   
• And the build of a second laundromat on “La Vigne” which will increase the  proximity and availability of washing machines as well as dryers. 😎

Our Campsite Village de la Guyonnière is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!

The adventure began in 1991 when the Jaspers family welcomed their very first holidaymakers to what was then a small farm campsite with only 6 pitches.

Then, one thing leading to another, and always respecting the existing land and vegetation, the campsite grew to become the 5-star campsite we know today, well-known for its very large pitches, its peace and quiet and its many services, in the heart of an exceptional and preserved nature on the shores of the Jaunay Lake.

For this very special occasion, a small photo exhibition will be organized at the bar throughout the summer, to retrace the evolution of the campsite in pictures! Plus, we have little surprises, just for you… 🙂

La Guyonnière, rewarded with the « Fishing Accommodation » label

Since 2010, the National Federation of Fishing has defined a national strategy for the development of fishing leisure activities based on 3 axes:

• The enhancement of fishing sites and fishing conditions through the creation of a network of fishing routes adapted to demand and the labelling of excellent routes;
• The offer of accommodation, services and entertainment adapted to the clientele;
• Communication and promotion of fishing leisure activities

The geographical location of the Camping Village de la Guyonnière, 400 m from the Jaunay lake (a major fishing site in the Vendée), and the presence of a pond on the campsite, were the starting points for our labelling process.

In order to best meet the needs of fishermen, we have decided to adapt one of our Glamping accommodations, the Safari Lodge 6p. Here is what it has at its disposal:

• Private technical room with padlock for storing equipment
• External tap fixed on the technical room for rinsing material and equipment
• Electric cooler with connection
• Bubbler

In addition, fishermen will find at the campsite reception all the necessary documentation (maps, guides, regulations).

Additional information:

• Fishermen must have a permit to fish on Lac du Jaunay. This permit can be issued at the campsite reception desk.
• Fishing is free at the campsite’s pond (4000m²).

For your next holiday, do you wish to stay at the Camping Village de la Guyonnière campsite? An excellent choice! To thoroughly fill your days during your stay in the Vendée, we have a multitude of tourist attractions and theme parks to recommend for you! Amongst these, the Puy du Fou is looked on as a must-see attraction. This theme park is one of the most unusual. Far from the thrill rides of its competitors, Puy du Fou is set apart by amazing shows.

Each show is more impressive than the others…

Located 45 minutes by road from the campsite, Puy du Fou welcomes you with open arms for an exceptional day out and one of the most impressive changes of scenery. Have a walk in some 55 hectares of this magical park and discover it through wherever the various shows take you. New shows tell the story of the Vendée and of France. You should not miss the “Cinéscenie”, the only show of its kind in the world which delights young and old alike. As night falls, take your seat in the tiers facing a 23-hectare stage. Attend a magnificent show which never stops revitalizing itself with the passing years. Some 2,400 actors, 28,000 costumes and a show lasting 1 hour 40 minutes. These figures are impressive but prove the tourist love for the well-known “Cinéscenie”!

You will by now have understood that you should not miss the Puy de Fou, during your stay on our Vendée campsite.. For either a day or an evening, leap through time wherever the amazing shows offered by the park take you. The park was recently voted Best Amusement Park in the World!
