The Accueil Vélo Label
Set up by the French Cycling Tourism Association, the Accueil Vélo label is awarded to sites offering a high-quality welcome and services for cyclists. Built by a family of cycling enthusiasts, Camping Village de la Guyonnière is one of around 1000 tourist complexes to have been recognised with this label.
Our campsite is ideally situated next to a cycling route leading to the ocean, and also close to the Vélodyssée (around ten kilometres away) which is the famous cycling route along the Atlantic coast.
In short, these are some of our services put in place at our campsite to best meet the needs of cycling tourists :
A special accommodation for cyclists
From 2023 and onwards, our campsite will be offering the Vélocabane accommodation that can be booked per night.
It’s ideal for passing cyclists, this accommodation allows you to take a break from your holiday, in a relaxing setting right next to the Lac du Jaunay, while taking advantage of all the facilities our campsite offers.

Bike rental on site
Bikes can be rented directly at the campsite. We also provide a tyre inflation service, a bike repair service and if needed the necessary repair equipment. A bike storage area is also available upon request.

Regular cycling outings from the campsite
Mountain biking and road cycling outings are organised during the week :
– Tuesday mornings you’ll have a 50km road cycling outing (personal road bike required, no hire available)
– Friday mornings you’ll have a 30km mountain bike outing (mountain bikes can be rented on site).
The meeting point is at the bike hire chalet.
In short, Camping Village de la Guyonnière is an ideal base for cycling passionates, thanks to all the various facilities at the campsite, but also thanks to its location : the Vendée has no shortage of cycling paths for all cycling levels !
