Enjoying camping at the Atlantic Ocean in France

If you stay on the Atlantic Ocean during the summer months, you can enjoy a moderate maritime climate. This means that summers are wonderfully warm, but not extremely hot thanks to the cool sea breeze. In July and August, we see temperatures of between 20 and 27 degrees Celsius. This is perfect beach weather, but also great for engaging in all kinds of activities. The Atlantic coast of France in summer is therefore also a popular destination for vacationers because of its mild weather and many hours of sunshine.

What to do during a vacation on the Atlantic Coast in France?

The Atlantic Coast in France is of course known for its beautiful beaches and islands. From the campsite you can be in the sand with your feet within 10 minutes. Build beautiful sandcastles, take a dip in the blue water and unwind with a good book in a beach chair. This is real vacation! Near the campsite you will also find a beautiful lake, Lac du Jaunay. Here you can enjoy water sports, fishing, swimming and much more.

The surroundings of the Atlantic Coast in France are also great for cycling and hiking. Because the terrain is fairly flat, there is a route for every level of experience. This also allows children to join you on bike tours. Explore the forests, ride along the beaches and discover cozy villages in the area. Bicycles can be rented at the campsite. For children there is also more than enough to do on the Atlantic Coast. Take them to Le Puy du Fou, an extraordinary amusement park. Here you can enjoy special shows about history.
