The Ironman 70.3 (half Ironman) returns to Les Sables-d’Olonne every year, just 20 minutes from our family campsite! On 5 July 2026, you can experience this fantastic sports competition. The Ironman 70.3 Les Sables d’Olonne-Vendée was voted the second-best race in the world in 2022! This historic sporting event combines swimming, cycling, and running, offering an unforgettable experience for all sports fans! Come and watch this extraordinary sporting spectacle!

  • 7:00 AM: Start at the Grande Plage
  • 7:25 AM: Cycling, Place du Vendée Globe
  • 9:36 AM: Running, Place du Vendée Globe
  • 10:43 AM: Arrival of the 1st finisher, Le Remblai
  • 4:21 PM: Arrival of the last finisher, Le Remblai

Psst: There is even a kids' version of the event!

IronKids is a race for children aged 8 to 13. The event is untimed, and there are no general rankings. It's all about fun and excitement!

Camping Village de La Guyonnière is the ideal place for your workouts, whether you like tennis, aquagym, running, hiking, or cycling. What's more, the cycling track is located just 2 minutes from the campsite, in the charming village of Saint-Julien-des-Landes.
