🌷 Les Floralies, a unique international event in Vendée!
Les Floralies is a must-see event in the region, held every 5 years, and this year it’s doing us the honour of taking place at La Chabotterie, just 40 minutes from our Vendée campsite. You’ll be able to enjoy a unique and rare activity during your family holidays at this 13th edition of the Floralies, from 17th to 26th of May 2024.
This is one of Europe’s leading ornamental events, taking place over 10 days. This year, the thirteenth edition promises to be rich in emotions and sports with the main theme: Paris 2024 Olympic Games. On site, you’ll be able to discover a whole list of special guests and shows that will dazzle you and your children.
🏅A new edition for the 2024 Olympic Games
This year, Les Floralies in Vendée, are pulling out all the stops with a special edition themed around the “Flower Games”, in reference to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. It’s a very special edition, as it’s the first time the event will be leaving the city of Nantes to go to the Domaine de la Chabotterie in Vendée.
The scenography for this event has been designed around five areas: aquatic games, childhood games, thinking games, garden games and physical games. From May 17th, it will take place on 35 hectares of land in Vendée.
During your family or friends holiday in Vendée, you’ll even have the chance to witness an exceptional night-time show: the Lyriade Florale.
Created especially for this 13th edition, the show lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes, it’s also open to all audiences. It will be presented on :
> May 17th to May 25th at 8.30pm.
> on the 21rst, 22nd, 24th and 25th of May at 4pm and 8.30pm.
> the 26th of May at 6.30pm.

👪 An ideal event for families
During your May Half Term you can combine rest, relaxation and discovery thanks to this unique event close to the campsite. Discover the unique world of flowers and plants in an exceptional setting in the heart of Vendée. Between a ride at the Pony Club, a mountain bike outing or a family hike around the Lac du Jaunay, take the opportunity to visit Le Logis de la Chabotterie and admire the flowers and plants on display.

Whether it’s a sporting, cultural or musical event, our beautiful region knows how to cater for everyone’s tastes. Indeed, La Vendée hosted the famous Tour de France in 2018 and is well known for the yearly Vendée Globe, the world’s greatest sailing race, which starts in Les Sables d’Olonne.
We even have the honour of witnessing the Olympic and Paralympic torch passes for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Located in the heart of the region on the banks of the Lac du Jaunay, our 85 campsite combines sporting activities, local discoveries and moments of relaxation. The Vendée is a unique department offering a wide variety of landscapes, from Ile d’Yeu to Ile de Noirmoutier, La Grande Plage in Les Sables d’Olonne, which is even one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.

This gathering of enthusiasts speaks to us! We pay particular attention to our environment and surrounding nature. We’re delighted to have Les Floralies hosted in the Vendée for the first time!
