What to visit in the Vendée during summer?

With mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine, July is an ideal time to explore the Vendée coastline, hike in the bocage or cycle along the region’s many cycle paths.

Towns to visit in the Vendée 

⛵️ Stroll down in the streets of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie: 

Its lively historic centre and large beach make it an ideal destination for a family day out away from the campsite. 

🐚 Admire one of the most beautiful bays in the world at Les Sables d’Olonne:

Don’t miss the clock tower, the shell district “L’Île Penotte” and the seaside ice cream parlours in this town that hides many treasures.
